Winter School of Translation

On January 30, the Association, represented by its president, K. Absolonová, managing director of ASAP-translation, participated in a panel discussion at the Winter School of Translation in Banská Bystrica. The Association also provided financial support for this conference for young translators and interpreters, as it considers this community activity to be extremely beneficial for the development of the younger generation of linguists. B. Chrenko from Glocco and K. Gabčová from Tetras also participated in the discussion. The discussion addressed the positions of localization companies regarding the current situation, which is significantly influenced by AI and the global economic crisis.
