On December 5, President K. Absolonová representing ASAP-translation and E. Kosztolányiová representing Yamagata presented the Association at a panel discussion at the Department of Translation Studies at UKF Nitra on the topic of the future of the translation profession. She emphasized that translators must first gain experience, which initially requires flexibility for various job positions that overlap with the work of a translator. She pointed out the need to increase work productivity through modern technologies and explained that it will be increasingly necessary to adapt work processes to the different needs of clients in terms of translation quality. E. Kosztolányiová introduced students to the position of project manager and the qualities and skills that this position requires.
