Helsinki Language Industry Summit

On September 11-13, the Helsinki Language Industry Summit conference was held, during which President K. Absolonová participated in the annual EUATC meeting. The conference focused on AI and how the translation sector should deal with it. Erik Miller, president of the Finnish Association of Translation Companies, summed up the situation as follows: "The language industry landscape is changing so rapidly there has never been a greater need to come together with our peers, take stock, hear from experts and really understand the threats, while getting to grips with the opportunities that the advances in technology present to the sector."
